The Dow Jones Industrial Average surged more than 1,200 points Friday, ending above 50,000 for the first time in history and cementing a strong stock market rebound.
The Dow DJIA, a gauge of blue-chip stocks in the U.S., closed up 2.5% at 50,115, according to preliminary FactSet data.
