EXCLUSIVE: Veteran communications executive Stephanie Clark has been named SVP, Corporate Communications at Sony Pictures. In her new role, she will work with Sony Pictures Television‘s U.S. scripted, nonfiction, and kids businesses.
Clark moves to Sony from Paramount where she most recently served as VP Corporate Communications, Streaming. There she handled corporate communications strategy for Paramount+ and Pluto TV.
Stacy Weitz, Sony TV’s SVP Corporate Communications, will focus on international production, global distribution, and the game show group.
“Stephanie is a widely regarded and trusted leader,” Tahra Grant, Sony’s Chief Communications Officer, said. “Her depth of experience building large-scale strategies and her exceptional narrative development skills will be an incredible asset to Sony Pictures.”
Prior to Paramount, Clark served as Director, Global Communications and Global Publicity at Warner Bros. Discovery, where she managed global communications for several major franchises including The Wizarding World. Earlier in her career, she held roles at PR agencies Golin and Edelman, where she drove campaigns for Mattel, Warner Bros. and PacSun.
Sony’s U.S. scripted division is behind such series as Vince Gilligan’s breakout Pluribus for Apple TV; Shawn Ryan’s The Night Agent for Netflix, which returns for Season 3; The Boys, which returns to Prime Video for its fifth and final season and has spawned spinoffs Gen V and Vought Rising; Outlander, back for its eighth and final season on Starz alongside prequel Blood of My Blood; as well as the upcoming Spider-Noir for MGM+ and Prime Video.
