Canadian police are investigating an incident where two people fired multiple rounds of gunshots toward the outside of the U.S. Consulate in Toronto, authorities said. There were no injuries reported.
There is witness evidence showing that a white Honda CR-V turned and stopped in front of the consulate, police said. There, two men emerged from the vehicle, discharged multiple rounds of a firearm, probably a handgun, at the front of the building, then got back into the vehicle and drove southbound, Police Service Deputy Chief Frank Barredo said at a news conference.
