3 stats to know about Nick Westbrook-Ikhine
Steady presence with the Titans: Westbrook-Ikhine struggled to produce in Miami last season, but before that, he was a steady contributor to the Titans’ passing game. From 2021 through 2024, he averaged nearly 50 targets each season.
Inside and out versatility: Most of his career snaps have come lined up outside, but Westbrook-Ikhine can be moved around the formation. According to PFF, 59.9% of his career snaps came lined up outside, with 39.8% coming from the slot.

YAC potential: Westbrook-Ikhine has shown his ability to make plays with the ball in his hands. From 2022-2024, he averaged 4.2 YAC per reception. For some context, among qualified receivers in 2025, that would have ranked as the 16th-best mark in the NFL.
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine’s fit in the Colts’ offense
As mentioned, depth and competition were needed at wideout after the Colts traded Michael Pittman. Before signing Westbrook-Ikhine, the next man up on the depth chart was Ashton Dulin. And while Dulin has provided a steady presence when called upon, adding competition for that playing time was needed. Other wide receiver options included Anthony Gould, a slot receiver, and Laquon Treadwell.
It remains to be seen whether or not Westbrook-Ikhine will push for steady and meaningful playing time, but his presence boosts competition, which can potentially help elevate the play and elevate the floor at the receiver position behind Alec Pierce and Josh Downs.

Former Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan had this to say about Westbrook-Ikhine:
“He very rarely has a mental error,” former Titans Head Coach Brian Callahan said of Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, via the Dolphins team site. “He’s willing and physical in the running game. He blocks his tail off in the run game. He does a lot of the dirty work, too, because he’s so sound and knows where to go all the time. When the balls in the air, he makes plays. Everything about how he goes about his business, his approach, his professionalism, it’s what you want. You want as many of those types of guys you can find. He’s the example of what that’s supposed to look like.”
