DETROIT — A federal appeals court on Wednesday blocked Michigan’s ban on conversion therapy for minors who are LGBTQ+, declaring it violates the First Amendment rights of therapists and counselors.In a 2-1 opinion, the court said the law illegally restricts speech that reflects the moral beliefs of therapists. Analytics company Circana released its November report on Wednesday, showing rising prices and console sales at their worst point in decades. According to Circana director Mat Piscatella, the average price of a new unit of video game hardware has risen from around $235 in 2019 to $439 in 2025.
