EXCLUSIVE: Donovan Daughtry has joined Principal Entertainment LA as a manager, after more than 15 years at Untitled Entertainment, where he worked with a roster of high-profile and award-winning talent.
Daughtry represents actors across film, TV, and theater, working with both established names and breakout discoveries. Clients he works with include Juliette Lewis, Kate Walsh, Ben Hardy, Aidan Laprete, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Tracy Ifeachor, Chord Overstreet, Peter Mooney, Cara Gee, Brian Muller, Deion Smith, Jonathan O’Neill, Cameron Kasky and Ryan Faucett, among others.
He began his career in representation at CAA after graduating from UCLA.
“Principal has a strong reputation for thoughtful, strategic representation, and I’m excited to be joining a team that values long-term career building,” Daughtry said in a statement to Deadline.
Separately at Principal LA, David Weidoff has been promoted to manager. Weidoff, a graduate of the USC School of Dramatic Arts, worked for EP Franco Bario (Sorry for Your Loss) and showrunners Etan Frankel (Evel) and Caryn Lucas (Country Comfort) before joining Principal Entertainment LA in the fall of 2022.
