When did you work at Golfweek?
2012-2015

What was your Golfweek title, and give us a brief description of what you did.
Golfweek editor: I started as an editor and assisted with social media. Then moved into covering junior and collegiate golf, along with the amateur golf beat
What’s your current title and company?
Proposal writer/coordinator — Sevenson Environmental
What’s the one moment you’re proudest of while working with Golfweek?
When I wrote my first article, which made it into the magazine. It was the coolest thing because I grew up reading Golfweek, and then to see my name and article in the magazine was easily my proudest moment. It’s actually still framed in my parents’ house today,

What’s the ‘hair-on-fire’ moment you remember most vividly?
There are a few that come to mind. But two I vividly remember are: 1. Driving through a tornado to get to work, only to get there and have the power out — and of course, it was a Sunday deadline day. That made for a late night. 2. I lost all of the aggregate scoring leaderboards I used to put together for the magazine because my laptop shuttered toward the end of the night. It was maybe two lines from being done, but it couldn’t be saved. We were there for a long time that night as well.
What’s your favorite golf course you’ve played and why?
Sage Valley — such a prestigious course in the Augusta area. I loved being a part of the first-ever Sage Valley Invitational and meeting the professionals of today.
