EXCLUSIVE: Erika Prevost (The Boys) has signed on to star alongside Sara Waisglass and Damian Hardung in Into the Deep Blue, an adaptation of the coming-of-age romance novel bv Nicholl fellow Jennifer E. Archer.
Adapted for the screen by Archer and slated to shoot this year, the film follows Nick (Hardung) and Fiona (Waisglass), lifelong friends who lean on each other through grief after losing their mothers, only to discover that healing may require confronting the deeper feelings they’ve long kept buried.
Erika will play May, Fiona’s best friend and co-worker, who lives in a world of parties, hookups and social appearances.
Marble Press published the book in September 2025. The film is being produced by Michael Baker, Archer, and Jonathan Wright, who will also direct.
Prevost is an up-and-coming actress who can currently be seen on the series Saint-Pierre, which airs on CBC Gem in Canada. She recently wrapped a lead role in the indie Send the Rain and has also recurred as Tala on the hit Prime Video series The Boys. She is represented by Amplified Management and NCA.
